I have always loved fine art, acquiring a B.A. in Art History. I enjoy quality furniture with a provenance and artistic possibility. Such distinctive children’s and adult furniture with a provenance is of superior quality, and inspires my thought processes when designing new unique pieces for children and adult tastes. I love its aesthetic look and attention to detail, ranging from cottage nursery, English nursery, Regency, to Classic revival, French, English, and American.

I love to seek out these rare little gems and restore them to pristine condition, giving them back the life and purpose they originally had. Beautiful heirloom children’s furniture and accessories foster creativity and inspire play in children.

I have loved art from a very young age. From the age of four I loved drawing, painting, and using pastels to satisfy my love of art. I captured anything I saw on paper or canvas that was pretty and piqued my curiosity. I would try to render the subject, whether a butterfly, bird, or person as realistically as possible, even at such a young age.

I always strive to capture the essence and personality of the subject in each portrait that I paint, which is essential to a successful portrait. After years of refining and perfecting my painterly technique, I am proud to offer my services to you. Commission that special portrait during your child’s or spouse’s journey as a soldier and officer in the military or at one of our fine military academies that will be cherished forever…

It is important to note that I am the sole painter for my store, Rainbow & Wish - the parent site to my Military Portraiture site. It is my idea, my dream and my wish to create unique children’s offerings to present to you. Integrity is of the utmost importance to me and I strive for excellence concerning my painting, whether it is a peg rack or a specially commissioned portrait. My husband, Larry, has used his masterful computer skills and created this beautiful website to showcase my painterly ability-and my dream. We handle every aspect of Rainbow & Wish ourselves, and I strive for communication between myself and those wishing to purchase a piece, or considering the many options available.

Our friend - a fabulous carpenter and fine craftsman, creates the custom pieces duly noted as such and hand-finishes them for Rainbow & Wish. No small detail is overlooked.
